- Pop out clips playback page
  Users have the option to pop out the clips playback page as a separate window, enabling them to watch a clip while simultaneously working within the Zoom app. This functionality allows for multiple pop-out playback pages to be open concurrently allowing users to multitask and have a dedicated space for clip viewing.
- Customizable branding for Zoom Clips playback page
  Zoom Clips users can brand the web playback page and embedded video player with their own company logo and color scheme. The Zoom branding will be removed from the video page and embedded player, allowing users to fully customize the branding. This feature provides users with the ability to align the playback experience with their organization's branding.
- Enhancements to clips view statistics
  Clip owners can now see statistics of their clips without counting their own visits or views. The Plays statistic has been added, which corresponds to the number of times users click the play button. This provides clip owners with more accurate insights into how their clips are being consumed by others.

  Users can switch recording types during a recording session, enabling you to toggle between screen recording, camera-only recording, and combined screen and camera recording. This enhancement provides more flexibility for Clips users by enabling changes in recording type without stopping the session.
- Playlist management
  Clips owners can organize their clips into playlists.
- Ability to share clips from Team Chat
  Users can share existing clips from Team Chat, previewing them through thumbnails and assigning appropriate permissions like viewer access for chat sharing. Additionally, users can create new clips directly within the file chooser and preview entire clips before selecting them, improving usability and integration across platforms.

- Enable AI Companion for automatic clip title, description, and tag generation
  Account owners and admins can enable the Generate title, description, and tags with AI Companion setting in the Web Portal to allow users within their organization to use AI Companion in creating a clip's title, description, and tags based on audio transcript data. This setting is available at the account, group, and user levels.
User features
- Zoom Clips for Linux, Android, and iOS
  In addition to Windows and macOS, Zoom Clips will be available for Linux, Android, and iOS.Zoom Clips offers a convenient solution for capturing both personal video and screen activities, allowing users to effortlessly share their recordings with others. This feature is particularly valuable when demonstrating product features or showcasing various functionalities. Users can conveniently access their Clips through their client or web portal, and receive notifications about views, comments, and replies related to their Clips. The feature can be enabled or disabled at the account, group, or user level and is available for public beta during this release.
- Increase visibility of clips recorder shortcut
  Users can find the new shortcut for opening the clips recorder through tooltips available for the Create Clip button in the web and system menus. The system button title has also been changed from Create Clip to Record New Clip .
- Customizable Camera Frames in Clips
  Users can customize the shape and style of the camera frame while recording Clips. This update introduces the option to choose a round frame and customize the border color from a selection of predefined colors.
- Green Screen Support in Clips
  Users can use green screens to map their virtual backgrounds within Clips. This enhancement aims to provide functionality similar to that found in Meetings.
- Ability to share computer audio while on headsets
  Users with headsets can include their computer audio in Clips, mirroring the functionality of Share Computer Audio in Meetings. This enhancement allows combining microphone and computer audio inputs when using headsets, improving overall functionality.
- Enhancement to Clips preview in Team Chat
  In Team Chat, users can view a preview of the shared clip(s) if they have the proper permission. If not, they will not see the play button or the thumbnail related to the clip.
- Automatic clip title, description, and tag generation using AI Companion
  If enabled by account owners or admins, users can use AI Companion in creating a clip's title, description, and tags based on audio transcript data.

Annotation default pen settings
The Zoom Clip Annotation default pen has been changed to the vanishing pen which is more suitable when users want to highlight important points, underline text, and draw shapes and diagrams to reinforce concepts.

- Ability to manage audio transcript availability on clip playback page
  Account owners and admins can enable or disable audio transcript availability on clip playback page. Some clips don't have transcripts before turning on this setting. Transcripts for them must be manually enabled on the playback page.This setting is enabled by default and is available at the account, group, and user levels.
User features
- Support playback thumbnail
  When users click and drag a clip's progress bar during playback, they can see thumbnail frames, allowing them to easily scrub through the clip and find the desired point in the video. Additionally, besides choosing a default video frame to begin with and uploading their own thumbnail, users can define their own thumbnail from the video.
- Support transcription for uploaded videos
  If transcription is enabled, users can manually generate transcripts for uploaded videos and old clips.

- Enhancements to Zoom Clip Annotation and Drawing Tools
  Zoom Clip has added new annotation and drawing tools that allow presenters to mark up their screens while recording. Users can now easily highlight important points, underline text, and draw shapes and diagrams to reinforce concepts. This helps presenters create more dynamic and visually engaging content.
  Note: This release has been delayed. An updated release date will be provided as soon as it is available.
- Enhancements to embedding and sharing Zoom Clips
  Account owners and admins have the option to allow users to embed Zoom Clip thumbnails in emails and social media. Once enabled, users embed either fixed clip thumbnails or utilize a script code to insert a clip into these environments.
- Ability to share meeting recordings as clips with granular control
  Account owners and admins can now enable meeting hosts to share full or partial meeting recordings externally as clips. Hosts have the option to trim recordings and select only relevant sections to share as clips. This allows hosts to provide focused content to external viewers. Furthermore, hosts can customize clip access and permissions when sharing meeting recordings to ensure the right people can view the clips.
- Keyboard shortcut added for initiating Zoom clip recordings
  A new keyboard shortcut has been implemented that allows users to instantly start recording Zoom clips during meetings. By pressing alt+control+c on Windows or command+control+c on Mac, users can immediately begin capturing important moments without having to navigate menus. This shortcut simplifies the recording process, enabling users to save time and focus on their recording.

- Presenter immersive view in shared screen
  The presenter's video can now seamlessly integrate with the content presented in their clips through the immersive view feature.
- Ability to tag in comments
  In Zoom Clips comments, users have the option to mention other commenters by typing @username. This action highlights the mentioned individual's name and triggers a notification for them. Commenters can tag specific individuals or everyone authorized to view the clip. Furthermore, individuals who haven't been authorized to view a clip cannot be tagged in a comment.

- Enhancement to the Share clips feature
  Account owners and admins have the option to allow their users to share clips with individuals external to their organization who do not possess a Zoom account. If admins deactivate this feature, the owner of Zoom Clips will be unable to authorize users from outside their organization to access their clips.
User features
- Avatar support
  Users can generate a human avatar for utilization in their Zoom Clips, allowing them to personalize diverse aspects, including facial features and colors. This feature is available on the Windows and macOS only at this time.
- Share portion of your screen
  Users can now share a portion of their screen in their clips allowing them to concentrate on particular aspects of their presentation.
- Optimize for video clip
  Enabling the Optimize for video clip feature allows users to opt for a faster frame rate when recording their clips.
- Stereo audio
  Users can now utilize the stereo audio sound to record their clips, enhancing the depth of the sound experience for a more immersive auditory effect.

Zoom Clips download
The option to download a clip has been relocated from the More options to the top level of the clip itself, streamlining the process for users to easily download their clips to their computer.
Zoom Clips beta concluded and is available for purchase
Zoom Clips is no longer beta and is available for purchase. For Zoom One Pro and higher, Zoom United Pro and higher, EDU - Higher Education, and Zoom Rooms accounts, the following items apply:
- Unlimited number of clips.
- No clip duration limit.
- Access to advanced features such as transcription and viewer statistics.
For basic and Legacy Premium accounts/users utilizing Zoom Clips, the following items apply:
- A maximum of 5 clips can be created in the account.
- Each individual clip can be up to 2 minutes in duration.
- Advanced features such as transcription and viewer statistics are not accessible.
- A notification banner appears when the account is over the clip limit.

Admin features
- Zoom Clips password access
  Account owners and admins have the ability to mandate a password for accessing shared clips within their accounts. Admins can establish a password generation rule, specifying criteria such as minimum password length, and the inclusion of letters, numbers, and special characters. This setting will only affect newly generated clips after it has been enabled.
User features
- Enhancement to Zoom Clips virtual background behavior
  When initiating a Zoom Clips recording session, if the user has already set a virtual background for their meetings, this virtual background will now be automatically applied as the default for their recording. Previously, the default recording background was empty. If the user decides to modify their virtual background during the recording, it will not affect their meeting's virtual background settings, which will remain unchanged.
- Clickable URL in Clips description and comment
  After creating a Zoom Clips, users can conveniently share their clips with others by accessing a clickable URL link provided in both the description and comments sections. By default, the link is set to "Anyone with the link can view".
