Zoom provides up-to-date release notes for Workspace Reservation. New or enhanced featureEnhancements to user representation for reserved desks without profile picturesWhen users reserve a desk and do not have a profile picture, their initials will be displayed in a circle on the web portal. For accounts with the "display profile picture on floor map" setting enabled, or for private/unknown users, a red icon with a desk will be shown instead of initials. This provides a clearer and more consistent representation of users without profile pictures across the Zoom Workspace Reservation platforms.Web portal

This setting allows admins to require users to be physically present to reserve a workspace, preventing remote reservations. The default setting keeps the Reserve Via Email button enabled, but admins can disable it for kiosks and scheduling displays on iOS and Android devices.Web portal
New or enhanced featureEnhancements to points of interest on floor mapsAdmins can create points of interest (POIs) on floor maps, which are non-bookable spaces. They can name the POIs, select an icon or shape to represent them, and place them on the map. Users can search for POIs on a floor, and get directions to them from their workspace or an entrance. This allows users to easily locate important areas like bathrooms or package delivery rooms.Web portal
New or enhanced featureAbility to turn on/off neighborhood boundariesWhen managing workspaces, account owners and admins can view the default neighborhood box boundary. They can turn off the boundary display. For desks without access, users will see a message stating the workspace is designated for certain users or groups, maintaining visibility into restricted areas. General features
Changed featureEnhancements to workspace sign-in restrictionsUsers are restricted to signing into a single Zoom Workspace Reservation (ZRC) client per desk. If a user signs into a desk that is already associated with another ZRC client, the previous client will be automatically logged out. This prevents multiple users from simultaneously occupying the same workspace desk, improving desk utilization and tracking accuracy.
