New, enhanced, and changed features

TypeFeature titleDescriptionPlatforms

Android
Changed featureEnhancements to push to talk button positioningThe push-to-talk functionality has been improved through refined button placement and interface optimization. New, enhanced, and changed features

TypeFeature titleDescriptionPlatforms
Changed featureTask Center renamed to Import StatusThe previous Task Center section has been renamed to Import Status to provide clearer identification of CSV upload tracking functionality. This change helps users distinguish between Zoom Task management and file import monitoring. The updated naming reduces confusion and makes it easier for frontline workers to locate the specific status information they need.Web portal
Changed featureShift group management with audit loggingAdmins can view detailed activity logs for all shift group management changes within Zoom Workplace for Frontline. The audit log captures updates to shift group names, custom date and time modifications, schedule changes, and additions or removals of exceptions. Each logged activity includes specific details such as previous and new values for schedule days and start times, along with exception dates and names.Web portal
Changed featureEnhancements to shift details with break schedulesUsers can punch out for breaks and view their break schedules directly within the shift details page. The break schedule displays timing and duration information for scheduled breaks during shifts. Frontline workers and shift managers can access this information to better plan their work periods and understand when breaks are scheduled. TWeb portal
Changed featureEnhancements to channel creation workflowsSite Group Managers can create channels with a simplified, unified flow that combines member and admin addition processes. The enhanced workflow allows adding users from both UKG and non-UKG tenants via a single option, with individual users marked as members by default and optionally designated as admins. Additionally, channel owners are now mandatory, with the current user set as the default owner. However, timekeepers can exclude themselves and must then designate a Zoom user as the owner. Users can also add hyperfinds as admins, granting admin roles to all users within the hyperfind. The interface clearly distinguishes between UKG and non-UKG users with appropriate tags. This streamlined approach reduces complexity and provides greater flexibility in channel management for frontline teams.Web portal
Changed featureCustom day-of-week schedulingAdmins can create shift groups with custom times for specific days of the week during shift creation. This enhancement allows different start and end times to be set for individual days within a shift period, replacing the previous limitation of applying one time slot to all days. Admins can configure recurring patterns for custom times and add exceptions for holidays or special events during the shift period.Web portal
